The original recipe of Piadapizza the pizza without yeast

Piadapizza the pizza without yeast, has as its basis the classic “piadina” is a thin Italian flatbread.

Piadapizza is an alternative to homemade pizza , does not contain yeast , which to some, people creates intestinal problems.

Ingredients “piadina”:

Flour 250 g

Water 75 ml

Lard 35 g original recipe   (Oil extra virgin olive an alternative)

Mix the ingredients to form a soft dough.

Let it rest for about 2 hours.

The paste obtained must be spread to form a thin layer round or rectangular.

Cook over a soapstone or non-stick skillet.




In the market you can find tortillas that respect the original recipe of “piadina”, but most of these contain salt.

People who suffer from celiac disease or are intolerant to gluten can prepare it with flour gluten-free.

Ingredients for dressing Piadapizza the pizza without yeast

Tomate sauce

Cheese : Parmigiano Reggiano, mozzarella

Oil extra virgin olive

Oregano

Basil

Anchovies, olives, capers, vegetables,  tuna , ham  etc. to taste.

Prepare a cup 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil tea, a little dried oregano, mix everything.

On piadina put the sauce, the cheese, a few leaves of basil and a sprinkling of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Add vegetables to taste and / or tuna and / or ham and / or olives and / or capers or / anchovies.




Do not add any salt.

Put in the oven at 180° C  degrees for a few minutes, until all the cheese cooking.

N.B. The recipe for  the Piadapizza the pizza without yeast, does not include salt because, anchovies, olives, capers, Parmesan cheese and of course bring salt, possibly you can flavor a little chilli oil.
